About this nanny job

Start Date: fully onboarded by January 5th (trial period dates were flexible with and will not be working holidays) We are looking for a loving, dependable, and experienced nanny to care for our newborn in Redwood City — is currently 3 months so will be about 6-7 months when starting. Looking for 1-2 days a week (every other week will be 2 days and other weeks 1 day but possibly open to 2 days/week every week). Days are usually a TuesdayWednesday but my schedule can possibly be changed to a Thursday (very unlikely that I will be scheduled Fridays) depending on what my work scheduled me. I find out my schedule one month prior. Hours: 630 AM to about 630 PM. We’re hoping to find someone who is looking for a part-time, long-term position and will become a valued part of our family. We are wanting someone of Christian faith that knows and understands our faith based values, and is active in their walk with Jesus 🥰 Requirements: * Strong experience with newborns/toddlers (for as he grows) and early development * Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and professional * Kind, calm, and naturally nurturing personality * Positive attitude and easygoing presence * Proactive and attentive (able to anticipate needs) * Non-smoker * Has reliable transportation and clean driving record * Has excellent references * Background checks * Infant CPR/ First Aid certified * Will be teaching baby sign language so knowledge of this is preferable! * Faith based individual rooted in Christianity Responsibilities: * Full care of the baby (feeding/bottle washing, diapering, soothing, naps) * Getting outdoor with walks * Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities * Keeping baby areas clean and organized * Supporting a consistent daily routine * Bathing if needed * Baby laundry possibly if in a bind If you are warm, dependable, and passionate about caring for young children, we’d love to hear from you!
