About this nanny job
About our family: We are a French family with three children: ages 8, 6, and 3. Our youngest is fully potty-trained, so no diaper duties. We're looking for a warm, dependable mother's helper to join our afternoon routine and help things run smoothly between pickup and bedtime. Responsibilities: School/activity pickup and driving: a car will be provided Homework assistance, supporting the kids through their after-school homework Grocery shopping: shopping mainly at Trader Joe's Meal preparation: preparing dinner Batch cooking: simple recipes Lunchbox prep : packing lunches for the next school day Laundry help: folding and putting away Light housekeeping related to the children: tidying kids' rooms, play areas, and shared spaces they use Evening routine support : helping the kids through bath, pajamas, and wind-down What we're looking for: A caring, patient, and reliable presence for our kids Someone comfortable driving children (car provided) Comfortable with light household tasks (cooking, laundry, tidying) alongside childcare Able to help with homework in a calm, encouraging way Available consistently Monday – Thursday afternoons and Wednesday evening Prior childcare experience preferred; references appreciated Comfortable with a French-speaking household (French language skills a plus, not required) Why join us: Guaranteed weekly hours — steady, predictable income Competitive rate ($30/hr) A structured, calm household routine Opportunity for a long-term, trusted relationship with the familyNanny job details
