We’re looking for a loving, dependable, and experienced nanny for our happy 5½-month-old son in Hastings-on-Hudson. We’re hoping to find someone long-term who genuinely enjoys working with babies and will become a trusted part of our family. Our son is easygoing, sleep trained, and currently takes three naps per day. We also have a small, friendly, hypoallergenic Cavapoo. Our regular schedule is Monday–Wednesday, 7:30am–5pm, and Thursday, 6:15am–5pm. We can also offer an optional 2–3 hours on Fridays if you’re interested in additional hours. Our priority is attentive, loving care for our son: following his feeding and nap schedule, developmentally appropriate play, reading and activities, preparing his food as he transitions to solids, and taking him on walks, library classes and other age-appropriate outings. Child-related responsibilities include washing bottles/pump parts, his laundry and bedding, and keeping his toys and play areas tidy. We appreciate some light household help during naps, such as emptying the dishwasher, folding laundry and tidying the kitchen, but childcare always comes first. We’re looking for someone with infant-care experience who is dependable, communicative and engaged. We require two recent childcare references, CPR/first-aid certification, a background check, and current flu, Tdap and COVID vaccinations. If you’re otherwise a great fit but need to renew a certification or locate documentation, please still reach out. Pay is $26–$30/hour depending on experience. We offer overtime at 1.5x for hours over 40, two weeks paid vacation, five paid sick days and six paid federal holidays. We want our nanny to feel respected, supported and comfortable in our home, and we’re hoping to find someone who will build a wonderful relationship with our son and stay with our family as he grows.
