Mother’s Helper / Household Assistant (Part-Time: 2 Days/Week) Overview: Seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Mother’s Helper to assist 2 evenings a week (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM) with the post-dinner reset. The ideal candidate will take charge of kitchen cleanup, meal prep, laundry management, and grocery inventory tracking so our family stays organized during the week. Key Responsibilities: - Kitchen & Dish Care: Clear counters, load/unload the dishwasher, and hand-wash items post-dinner. - Kids' Meal Prep & Food Logistics: Portion and prep snacks or meals for the kids, organize school lunches, and manage pantry flow. - Inventory & Grocery Tracking: Check fridge and pantry staples, restock items, and maintain a running list of required groceries. - Laundry Reset: Wash, fold, and put away daily loads of kids' clothing and household linens. - Evening Reset: Tidy up dining, kitchen, and living areas before ending the shift. Schedule & Compensation: - Schedule: 2 days/week (e.g., Tuesday & Thursday or your preferred 2 days), 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (4 hours total/week) Compensation: $30.00/hour Requirements: - Proven experience in household assistance, meal prep, or childcare support. - Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative without constant direction. - Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a home where a parent may be present. - Clean background check and excellent references.
