About this nanny job

We’re a friendly family in Hamilton Heights looking for a reliable, warm and energetic babysitter to help with our two girls, ages 8 and 10, after school. The role would mainly involve picking the girls up from school or after-school activities, spending time with them at home or nearby, helping with snacks and getting organized, and then taking them to sports practices and activities around the city. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids and is happy to play, chat, help keep them on track and make the afternoon feel relaxed and fun. There may also be occasional evening/date-night babysitting if you’re available. Typical responsibilities would include: * School or after-school pickup * Playing with the girls and supervising them at home or in the neighborhood * Preparing simple snacks * Helping them get ready for activities * Taking them to sports practices and other activities by subway, bus, walking or taxi/Uber as needed * Occasional date-night babysitting We’re based in Hamilton Heights and would love to find someone local who can become a regular, trusted part of our family routine. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, communicative, comfortable navigating NYC with children, and ideally has previous babysitting or childcare experience. Schedule would primarily be weekday afternoons, with occasional evenings available if interested.
