Looking for an in-person 2nd-grade tutor in the Bronx. I’m looking for a patient, encouraging tutor to work one-on-one with my 7-year-old daughter in reading and math. I’m looking for actual tutoring—not just homework help. I would like someone who can identify the areas she needs help with, explain concepts in different ways, and help build her confidence. We’d like to meet at our local public library in the Bronx, preferably once or twice a week after school or on weekends. Experience working with elementary/2nd-grade children is important.
