About this nanny job

We are looking for a warm, trustworthy, reliable and experienced nanny to care for our 11-month-old daughter, Genesis, in our home in Riverbank during the month of October. Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays 11:00 AM–3:30 PM Occasionally until approximately 4:30 PM due to work meetings (usually only 1–2 times per month). We are looking for someone who has experience caring for infants/babies around Genesis’s age and who is comfortable following her established feeding, nap and daily routine. Our ideal caregiver is patient, loving, attentive and enjoys interacting and playing with babies rather than simply supervising them. Requirements: • Experience caring for infants • Infant CPR/First Aid certified or currently certified • Background check • Reliable transportation • Non-smoker • At least 2 childcare references, preferably from families with infants/toddlers • Comfortable following our established nap, feeding and safety routines • Comfortable with parents using cameras in the home • Dependable and punctual This position is primarily needed for October, with the possibility of occasional babysitting opportunities afterward if it is a good fit. Before October, we would like to schedule an interview and a paid trial visit so that Genesis can become comfortable with her caregiver while one of her parents is present. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who will care for Genesis with patience, affection and attentiveness while keeping her safe and comfortable in her normal home environment.
