About this nanny job

Our primary childcare responsibility will be caring for our **twin boys, who will be around 1–1.5 years old** when our nanny begins. They are active, curious toddlers who need a caregiver who is attentive, patient, hands-on, and comfortable caring for two children at the same time. We place a strong emphasis on **engagement and developmental activities**. We expect our nanny to actively engage with the children throughout the day through age-appropriate play, reading, talking, singing, working on developmental milestones, and creative activities both indoors and outdoors. We want the boys to have opportunities to learn, explore, and stay active rather than relying primarily on screens or independent play. Our older son, **Kylan, will be almost 5 years old**. The twins will be the primary responsibility, but Kylan will also need care when he comes home from school around **2:30 PM** and during his **winter, spring, and summer breaks**. When all three boys are home, we expect our nanny to comfortably balance the needs of the twins while also engaging Kylan in age-appropriate activities. ### Children's Meals Our nanny will also help with **meal preparation for the children**, including **breakfast, lunch, and dinner**. This includes preparing simple, healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks, serving the children, and cleaning up after their meals. We are looking for someone who is comfortable preparing meals for toddlers and a young child and who is willing to introduce a variety of nutritious foods while accommodating the children's individual preferences and needs. Overall, we are looking for a **hands-on, proactive nanny who genuinely enjoys caring for children**. We want someone who will take initiative, keep the children engaged, support their development, prepare their meals, and become familiar with each child's individual personality and needs.
