Responsibilities: School Pickup: Reliable afternoon school pickup and safe transit to home. Homework & Handwriting Support: Assist with daily homework assignments while heavily focusing on refining neat handwriting mechanics, spelling, and penmanship. Math & Reading Enrichment: Guide reading comprehension exercises and math practice, introducing engaging, age-appropriate challenges to support advanced cognitive growth. Structured Routine: Maintain a calm, organized, and focused environment during study blocks so the student transitions smoothly into evening family time. Requirements & Screening: Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational, tutoring, or caregiving capacity. Reliable transportation and punctuality for weekday afternoons (Monday through Friday). Mandatory Background Screening: Must be willing to complete California’s TrustLine registry background check (required for state-backed subsidy/voucher programs) and provide any recent background verification or references upon hire.
