Part-Time Afternoon Family Helper/Nanny Needed We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced caregiver to help with our two young children approximately 3-4 hours per day, from around 4:30–8:30 p.m. Responsibilities would primarily include school pickups in our minivan, helping the children shower or get ready for the evening, serving or preparing a simple dinner, and keeping them engaged until bedtime around 7/7:30pm, until we finish work or return from an event. We are going through the kindergarten admissions process so there are many evening meetings and events so from Sept to Dec we would appreciate some flexibility in dates. Most events are Tues, Wed, Thurs, and sometimes Fri. There are 2-3 events per week and we can tell you all the dates ahead of time. For this reason, reliability is very very important to us as it would be difficult to find someone else on short notice and then would reflect badly on us in the kindergarten process for being “no-shows.” After Dec/Jan we can pin down consistent days, maybe Friday and 1-2 other days. We would also love to find someone who has flexibility to occasionally be available to stay later in the evening and/or help on weekends. A clean driving record, reliable transportation, and experience caring for young children are preferred. Please message me with your experience, availability, hourly rate, and references.
