Tutor / After-School Nanny – Part-Time Hello! I’m a single mother and business owner looking for a dependable, caring, and family-oriented individual to provide after-school support for my 6-year-old son. The primary focus of this role will be academic support and tutoring in reading and math, along with helping with his transition from school to home. I’m looking for someone who enjoys working with children, is patient and engaging, and can create a positive and encouraging learning environment. Responsibilities Pick up my son from school and bring him home safely Provide tutoring and homework support, particularly in reading and math Encourage good study habits and make learning fun and engaging Provide age-appropriate supervision and companionship after school Assist with light child-related tasks as needed Potentially provide additional support for our family based on availability and fit Ideal Candidate Dependable, responsible, and punctual Patient, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys working with children Comfortable tutoring a 6-year-old in reading and math Family-oriented and trustworthy Has a flexible schedule and is willing to work with a busy family schedule Prior tutoring, teaching, nanny, or childcare experience is a plus I’m looking for someone who can become a reliable and positive presence in my son’s life and a trusted extension of our family. I’m open to discussing flexibility in scheduling, compensation, and additional ways you may be able to support our family depending on experience and availability.
