About this nanny job

We’re a warm, loving family in Culver City looking for a caring and reliable part-time nanny for our two kids, ages 5 and 7. We’re hoping to find someone kind, patient, affectionate, and genuinely happy to spend time with children, someone who can become a trusted part of our family over time. More than anything, we want our kids to feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to see you. The role is around 16-20 hours per week in the afternoon/evening, with a guaranteed minimum of 12 hours. Our schedule can vary somewhat from week to week, so some flexibility is important. We consistently need help from 3-7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and often on Mondays and Fridays as well. Occasional availability for date nights or weekends would be greatly appreciated. Responsibilities will include school pickup, occasionally driving the kids to activities, spending time with them in the afternoons, helping with snacks/meals, kitchen cleanup and generally keeping their afternoons happy, safe, and running smoothly. We’re looking for someone with a safe driving record, reliable transportation, and who is comfortable driving children around Los Angeles. We’d love to find someone who is looking for an ongoing relationship with a family rather than just occasional babysitting. Reliability and good communication are very important to us.
