Part-Time Household & Family Assistant Location: Georgetown, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM Hours: 20 hours/week Pay: Competitive, based on experience We are a busy family with two young children looking for a reliable, hardworking, organized Household & Family Assistant to help keep our home clean, organized, and running smoothly. This position is primarily focused on household support and cleaning, with some childcare and family assistance as needed. Primary Responsibilities 🧹 Cleaning & Household Care * General daily cleaning and tidying * Vacuuming and mopping * Dusting and wiping surfaces * Cleaning bathrooms * Kitchen cleaning and maintaining a tidy kitchen * Emptying trash * Keeping common areas organized * Changing sheets and making beds -as needed * Picking up and organizing children’s toys and rooms * Maintaining an overall clean and orderly home 🧺 Laundry * Wash, dry, fold, hang, and put away family laundry * Children’s laundry and linens * Change and wash bedding as needed * Keep closets and clothing organized 🍽️ Meal Preparation * Prepare simple family dinners * Prepare children’s meals and snacks * Chop and prep ingredients * Help with meal planning and grocery lists * Clean up the kitchen after meal preparation 👧🏼👦🏼 Children * Help with our two young children as needed * Assist with snacks and meals * Help keep children occupied while parents are working * Help with afternoon routines * Occasional school/daycare pickup or drop-off 🛒 Errands & Organization * Grocery pickup and occasional shopping * Package returns and other local errands * Organizing pantry, closets, toys, and children’s belongings * Other occasional household tasks as needed Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: * Extremely reliable and dependable * Detail-oriented and takes pride in a clean home * Comfortable with cleaning, laundry, cooking, and organization * Able to work independently without constant direction * Proactive and able to recognize what needs to be done * Warm and comfortable around young children * Trustworthy and respectful of our home and privacy * Looking for a consistent, long-term position * Comfortable around dogs Previous experience as a household assistant, family assistant, nanny/housekeeper, house manager, or professional housekeeper is a plus. References and background check required.
