About this nanny job

We’re looking for a warm, reliable babysitter to help with our 2-year-old daughter, Kaiya, for regular date nights and occasional evenings out. We’re hoping to find someone who can become a familiar, consistent sitter for our family rather than someone we use only once or twice. Typical schedule: • Thursday evenings for date nights • Occasional Friday or Saturday evenings when we’re attending football games, dinners, or nights out with friends • Hours will typically be around 6:30–11:30 PM, though they may vary slightly depending on the evening Responsibilities: • Feed Kaiya dinner — we’ll either have her meal prepared or leave something simple ready to heat/prepare • Play with her and help her wind down for the evening • Handle her normal bedtime routine, including bath, pajamas, books, brushing teeth, and putting her to bed • Keep an eye on the baby monitor after she’s asleep • Light cleanup related to Kaiya’s dinner/bath/bedtime Once Kaiya is asleep, you’re welcome to relax, watch TV, read, study, etc. We’ll provide dinner for you or reimburse/pay for a meal, and you’re always welcome to help yourself to anything in our kitchen. We’d love someone who: • Has experience caring for toddlers • Is patient, attentive, and comfortable handling bedtime independently • Is dependable and communicates well • Is CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified • Is comfortable around dogs — we have a friendly Bernedoodle We’re looking for someone we can trust and hopefully work with regularly over time.
