# Family Assistant / Nanny We are looking for a dependable, organized, energetic, and responsible **Family Assistant/Nanny** to help with the daily care and coordination of three children. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children but can also function as a personal assistant for the family. ## Responsibilities * Pick up and drop off children at school, practices, activities, appointments, and events * Help keep the children's daily schedules organized * Assist with homework and make sure school assignments are completed * Prepare or coordinate simple meals and snacks for the children * Make sure the children are prepared for school and activities * Help organize clothes, school supplies, sports equipment, and personal belongings * Keep children's bedrooms and common areas reasonably organized * Assist with children's laundry when necessary * Run occasional family errands such as grocery pickups or picking up supplies * Help schedule appointments, practices, tutoring, and other activities * Communicate with the parent regarding schedules, needs, and any issues involving the children * Provide supervision when the parent is working, traveling, attending meetings, or handling business * Help establish and maintain structure and routines in the household * Encourage good behavior, responsibility, cleanliness, and respect * Occasionally assist with family outings, events, or travel ## What We're Looking For The ideal person is: * Reliable and punctual * Trustworthy and discreet * Good with children * Patient but able to maintain structure * Organized and able to multitask * A good communicator * Comfortable driving children * Able to take initiative without needing constant direction * Flexible when schedules change * Professional and respectful A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred. ## Position Goal The goal of this position is to provide dependable support that keeps the children safe, organized, on schedule, and taken care of while helping the household operate more efficiently. This is **not simply a babysitting position**. We are looking for someone who can become a dependable part of the family's daily routine and serve as a combination of nanny, family assistant, and children's coordinator.
