About this nanny job

My family is looking for a full time nanny to care for my 3 children. We have boys ages: 6 months, 2.5 years old, 4.5 years old. Job will include: - Following and enforcing daily routines: nap schedules for the infant and 2.5‑year‑old, mealtimes, and bedtime routines as directed. - School drop‑off and pick‑up for the 2yr old and 4 yr old - Preparing, arranging, and serving children’s lunches and dinners (most meals provided via meal delivery; light reheating/assembly and meal supervision required). - Planing and supervising engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and hands‑on play (indoors and outdoors) - Scheduling and coordinating local playdates and social activities with other children in town. - Providing nurturing discipline using empathy, warmth, and clear boundaries. - Monitoring children’s health and safety; administer basic first aid when needed and notify parents of any concerns. - Maintaining light housekeeping related to the children (cleaning up after meals and activities, laundering children’s clothing, tidying play areas, rotating toys). - Communicating daily with parents about schedules, milestones, behavior, and any issues. In general, we are looking for someone to ensure our children are safe, happy and well cared for. This individual should: - have high stamina, energy and enjoy hands-on play and activities - exercise patience and a sturdy presence - enforce rules and boundaries with empathy, warmth and compassion. - exhibit strong executive function: punctual, reliable and able to withstand changes in schedules given volatility of children
