Warm, patient part-time caregiver for two brothers — near West Portal, SF $40/hour, paid through a payroll service (W-2) A great fit for anyone looking for steady, part-time work, including students. We're a San Francisco family looking for a warm, patient caregiver for our two boys. This is a long-term role, and we're hoping to find someone who can grow with our family. ABOUT THE BOYS B, age 9, is sweet, calm, and often talkative, with a wonderful imagination. He loves marble mazes, Lego, swimming, and helping out in the kitchen. B thrives on routine, clear expectations, and one-on-one attention. We're looking for someone who can support him through social moments and the shift from school into homework and activities. E, age 6, is energetic, hilarious, and enthusiastic about pretty much everything. He loves drawing, magic tricks, theater, and a long chat. SCHEDULE (about 22 hours a week, consistent week to week) - Monday through Friday, 3:00-6:00 PM: school pickup, afternoon routine, and drop-off at activities - Two mornings a week, 7:30-9:00 AM: school drop-off - One evening a week, 6:00-10:00 PM, usually Thursday, so that day runs 3:00-10:00 PM Ideal start: the week of October 19. WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES Hands-on caregiving: school and activity driving, afternoon routines, snacks, homework support, tidying the play area, and the occasional fun outing. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Patient, reliable, and genuinely good with kids - Childcare experience - A valid driver's license and clean driving record. Driving is part of the role. Using your own car is preferred, but we're open to discussing it. - Experience supporting neurodivergent kids, or a real interest in learning neurodiversity-affirming care - Legally authorized to work in the US - Willing to complete a background check / LiveScan - Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willing to get one DETAILS Pay: $40/hour via payroll service Location: Near West Portal, close to SF State, with plenty of parking HOW TO APPLY Please include: 1.
