🌟 Looking for our next nanny in Hinsdale 🌟 Starting the week of October 12 Our amazing sitter is heading off to teach preschool (we're cheering her on! 🎉), which means we get to welcome someone new into our family. If you're the kind of person kids light up around, we'd love to meet you. 💛 A LITTLE ABOUT US We're a busy, happy family of five. Our boys are 12 and 9, and our daughter is 5. Our oldest mostly does his own thing, so your days will mostly be spent with the younger two, who are a lot of fun (and a lot of energy!). 🗓️ THE SCHEDULE Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 3:00 to 7:00 pm (about 12 hours a week) Some extra hours here and there on school days off, travel weeks, and summer, always with a heads up 🎒 WHAT YOUR AFTERNOONS WOULD LOOK LIKE 🚗 Picking the kids up from school and getting them to activities 🍎 Snack time, unpacking backpacks, and getting lunches ready for tomorrow ✏️ Helping with homework (elementary level) 🧹 Keeping the kitchen and kid spaces reset 🧺 Kids' laundry as needed 🍝 Getting dinner started or the kids fed on busier nights ✨ YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT IF You've cared for school-age kids before and genuinely enjoy it You're steady, patient, and good with routines (even when the kids aren't 😄) You have a valid license, a clean driving record, and your own reliable car You like to keep parents in the loop with a quick text You're a self starter who recognizes where to jump in and help You're hoping for something long-term, through the school year and ideally summer too We know great caregivers do so much more than "watch kids." You'd be a real part of our kids' days, and we want you to feel appreciated, trusted, and supported by us.
