About this nanny job
Family in San Francisco looking for an energetic, experienced part-time nanny for our joyful 17-month-old daughter, starting mid-October. Our current nanny is sadly leaving us to pursue full-time studies, and we are looking for a fantastic caregiver to join our family. Schedule & Hours: Guaranteed Hours: 24–30 hours per week Preferred Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 1:00PM or 3 days per week, 8:30AM to 5PM. We are flexible and open to discuss exact hours and working days. Opportunity for Growth: Position is initially part-time, with potential to transition to full-time in the future. Babysitting: Occasional evening date-night babysitting available (will include our 5-year-old daughter, who is in school full-time during the day). Separate rates to be agreed for 1 child or 2. About Our Daughter & The Role: Our 17-month-old is a curious, happy toddler with a great established routine. Mornings are active—she loves outings to local parks, rec centers, library story time, and swim class. Daily Responsibilities: Engaging in age-appropriate developmental play and outdoor activities. Preparing simple, healthy lunches and snacks. Managing lunch and nap time routine (she typically naps from 12/12:30 PM to 2:30/3:00 PM). Supporting toddler milestones, setting gentle boundaries, and ensuring safety. Light cleanup related to the child (dishes, toys, laundry). Qualifications: 3+ years of experience caring for toddlers. CPR and First Aid certified. Fully vaccinated. Ability to drive to swimming once per week. You can use our car assuming valid driver's license and city driving confidence. This is optional/flexible if you don't feel comfortable with driving. Valid background check and references from previous families.
