Family needs a caretaker starting Monday, Nov 9

About this nanny job

We are looking for a dependable, patient, and nurturing nanny to care for our baby girl in our home. Because she is still a young infant, we’re especially looking for someone with newborn/infant experience who is comfortable following her cues and routine. Responsibilities would mainly include feeding, diaper changes, soothing, naps, tummy time, reading, age-appropriate play, and keeping bottles, toys, and baby-related items and areas clean. We’re looking for someone who: Has experience with newborns/young infants Is dependable, patient, attentive, and affectionate CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified is preferred Understands current infant safety and safe-sleep recommendations Is a non-smoker with reliable transportation Can provide childcare references Is comfortable around pets We have a dog and 2 cats in the home, so being comfortable with animals is important. Our dog may also need to be let outside into our fenced backyard occasionally during the day. We do not expect household cleaning beyond tidying up after Emerie. We’d also like to meet beforehand when both parents are home. Most importantly, we’re hoping to find someone kind, trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely excited to care for Emerie as she grows.
