Hiring a caretaker starting Monday, Oct 19 in Inner Richmond

About this nanny job

We are looking for a warm, responsible, patient and calm educational nanny who wants to support a family with a mother who works from home. We have a 5 month old baby boy and a three year old daughter who goes to preschool five days per week, half a day. We have a second nanny that comes in the afternoon, but she does not live locally so she works for us seasonally. We hope to find someone honest, relaxed, organized, and a bit flexible, that is motivated to support a family and happy in that role. We have one small, friendly dog. We live near Golden Gate Park. We would prefer to find a nanny that enjoys prioritizing the children while out doing activities and in the park, rather than using the time to be on their phone or socialize with other adults. We would love for our children to learn another language but it is not a requirement. Driving is not a requirement, either. Our past nanny drove but our children would also be happy using the bus. We would like to find someone looking for a long term position and will provide a competitive compensation package. We would ask that when the children are sleeping or we are on vacation that our nanny help with child related tasks are and light tidying around the house. We have a housekeeper 2 days per week. We would love to find someone open to occasional weekend and evening babysitting. Travel is not a requirement but could be requested.
