About this nanny job
We’re a warm, professional family in Mendham looking for a reliable, responsible, and caring babysitter for our two children, a son who is 8 and a daughter who is 7. We’re primarily looking for occasional babysitting, including weekday evenings and weekend/date nights, with the possibility of additional hours as needed. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, is dependable and safety-conscious, and can keep both kids engaged with age-appropriate activities, games, reading, and play. Responsibilities may include preparing simple meals/snacks, helping with evening or bedtime routines, and keeping the kids’ areas tidy after activities. We value someone who is punctual, communicative, trustworthy, patient, and comfortable becoming a familiar and dependable part of our family’s routine. Prior childcare experience and references are preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus. We’re hoping to find someone interested in building a longer-term relationship with our family rather than providing only one-time babysitting.
