Weekend Nanny – Tribeca A warm, welcoming family in Tribeca is seeking a fun, engaging, and dependable weekend nanny to care for their 5-year-old child. The ideal candidate is energetic, well-spoken, warm, and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children. The family is looking for someone who can make weekends fun and enriching, whether that means exploring the city, planning activities, visiting museums or playgrounds, doing arts and crafts, reading, or simply keeping the child happily engaged at home. Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00/6:00 PM There may also be opportunities for Friday after-school hours depending on the family’s needs and the nanny’s availability. Responsibilities include: * Providing attentive and engaging care for one 5-year-old child * Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outings * Encouraging creativity, curiosity, reading, and play * Preparing simple meals and snacks for the child as needed * Keeping the child’s spaces and belongings tidy during working hours * Helping maintain the child’s weekend routine and schedule * Communicating clearly with parents regarding plans and the child’s day Ideal candidate: * Warm, upbeat, playful, and genuinely enjoys engaging with children * Polished, well-spoken, and an excellent communicator * Responsible, reliable, and punctual * Comfortable navigating NYC and planning age-appropriate outings * Proactive and able to take initiative rather than requiring constant direction * Prior professional childcare experience with similarly aged children * Strong references The family lives in Tribeca and has no pets.
