Part Time nanny position available starting Monday, Oct 19 (flexible)

About this nanny job

After-school nanny in Russian Hill — $35–40/hr, 16+ guaranteed hours, weekday afternoons. Starting mid-October, through the school year at minimum. We're looking for someone to become a steady part of our kids' afternoons. Leo (8) is bright and curious, loves Legos and how things work, and does best with patience and calm structure at homework time. Camilla (almost 6) is imaginative and loves ballet and crafts. Both attend La Scuola International School in the Mission. A typical afternoon: school pick-up, snack, driving to activities (swim, ballet, soccer, etc), help with homework, and the evening routine through bath time. Hours are Monday to Friday, roughly 3:00–6:30 PM, Mondays from 4:30 and Thursdays until 7:00. Activities shift with the seasons, so exact times will change a bit through the year, but we guarantee a minimum of 16 hours a week regardless, and we give notice on any changes. Occasional evening babysitting is a plus. What we offer: $35–40/hr depending on experience, guaranteed weekly hours, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement, and parents who communicate clearly and respect your time. What we need: your own car, a valid license and clean driving record, CPR certification, childcare references, and a non-smoker.
