About this nanny job
We are a friendly family in Los Feliz looking for a warm, fun, dependable part-time sitter in November and December. We have two great kids, ages 6 and 10, and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with school-age children. This is a consistent weekday-afternoon position for November and December of approximately 15 hours per week with some flexibility if you need it. We value reliability on both sides and try to communicate schedules and changes well in advance. The afternoons involve picking the kids up from school, driving them to activities, helping with homework and afternoon routines, and hanging out with them at home. On some days, we may need a little meal prep help for feeding kids. When time permits, we'd appreciate help with a few light, household tasks—things like laundry, dishes, and keeping the kitchen and kids' areas reasonably tidy. We are not looking for a housekeeper. We looking for someone who is responsible, organized, engaging, and comfortable driving in Los Angeles. A safe driving record and reliable transportation are important. We reimburse mileage for driving during work hours in addition to the hourly rate.
