Hiring a part time caretaker starting Friday, Oct 2 in Downtown

“Cars, animals, books, and dancing too Our almost 3-year-old loves to play when he warms up to you. With patience, kindness, and time each day. He’ll grow more comfortable through fun and play!” We’re a warm and easygoing family looking for someone kind, patient, dependable, and playful to spend weekday afternoons with our son while I work from home. Although toddler schedules can be unpredictable, we expect that he will likely nap for a good portion of the afternoon on many days. Because of that, this role is largely about being present and supervising him so that I can concentrate on work. I will always be nearby and available if you need me. He will already have had lunch at preschool, so we are not expecting much feeding or meal preparation. At most, he may need a simple snack or something small if he is hungry. When he is awake, we would love someone who enjoys playing with him, reading books, dancing, and engaging him with his favorite things like animals and cars. Helping him settle for naps and handling potty/diaper cleanup and other basic toddler needs as they come up would also be part of the role. Most importantly, we hope to find someone who can become a familiar, comfortable friend in his afternoon routine.☺️ Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM–5:15PM
