Family needs a caretaker starting Tuesday, Oct 20 (flexible) in North Los Alamitos Beach

About this nanny job

Hi! I’m a working mom in North Alamitos Beach, Long Beach, looking for a warm, reliable babysitter or part-time nanny for my curious, playful 3-year-old daughter. I’m looking for recurring weekday support, potentially starting with two days per week, with occasional babysitting as needed. She attends morning preschool, so help may include pickup and afternoon care while I work, often from home. Responsibilities include: • Engaging play, reading, and outdoor activities. • Patient, encouraging support with potty training. • Preparing simple meals and snacks. • Light cleanup around the apartment and some meal prep, as time allows around caring for her. • Preschool pickup, depending on the agreed schedule. I’d love someone with toddler/preschool experience who is attentive, dependable, communicative, and calm. I’m hoping to build a consistent relationship with someone who enjoys spending time with young children and can help make our weekdays run more smoothly. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed if handling pickup. Please share your experience, availability, hourly rate, and references.
