About this nanny job
We're looking for a caring, reliable sitter to be with our daughter Juno after school on weekdays, Nov 2-13 (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 3:45-7:00pm; Wednesdays 2:30-7:00pm). We may need an additional week after that (Nov 16-20, tentative). Juno is a super happy, fun, and funny kid! She has a genetic disorder and is non-verbal, so she communicates with a talking device (AAC). You'll greet her when she gets home from school, play with her, give her a snack, take her on a bit of outdoor time (playground / basketball). One of us is working from home at most times, so we're here to support when needed. About 3 days a week, an ABA therapist will be here during part of the afternoon. We'd like you to lend a light hand (very light work while the therapist is working with her) and follow the therapist's lead. Special needs experience is ideal, but we're open to anyone with a real interest in working with special needs kids and a warm, patient, playful attitude.
