After-School Babysitter/Nanny Job Details Position: After-School Babysitter/Nanny Children: 2 children — ages 11 and 13 Schedule: After school on scheduled weekdays Start Time: Nanny should resume work once the children arrive home from school End Time: To be determined based on the family’s schedule Responsibilities: * Meet/receive the children after they return from school. * Make sure both children are safe, comfortable, and supervised. * Help them get settled after school. * Prepare or serve simple snacks and meals. * Monitor homework and encourage them to complete schoolwork before gaming. * Allow appropriate gaming and recreational time after responsibilities are completed. * Keep an eye on gaming time and make sure screen-time rules are followed. * Encourage the children to take breaks from gaming and participate in other activities. * Keep the children’s immediate areas reasonably clean and organized. * Communicate with the parents about homework, behavior, meals, activities, and anything unusual. * Be available to assist with occasional school-related needs or errands if agreed upon. * Maintain a calm, respectful, and positive relationship with both children.
