About this nanny job
We are looking for a part time childcare provider for our 1 year old in our home. Ideally 1-2 times a week, 6-8 hours per day. Looking for someone who loves children, understands and fosters child development, demonstrates child safety in all areas, and is active and capable for her care in home and taking to local spots for stoytimes, play, etc. Ideally caregiver should have training in CPR and first aid and/or other child safety training. We would ask light and reasonable cleaning throughout day around caregiving, such as child’s dishes, mealtime cleanups, light toy tidying etc. we have a dog that needs letting out in the yard occasionally. Monday and Wed care preferred and hours slightly flexible but preferred 8 am-3:30 ish. We are conveniently located walkable distance from the green line and likewise have a parking pad for easy commuting options. Our little one is smart, social, and generally happy. Loves dogs, cats, people, kids, music, play and books. We encourage learning, exploration and minimal screen time (but ms Rachel and Cookie Monster are big faves). Trying to instill some Montessori concepts here and there…. Ideally this position would last at least one year or more.
