We are looking for a wonderful, reliable afternoon babysitter/family helper for our three girls, ages 7, 5 and 3, in Watertown. Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:00–5:30/6:00 PM Pay: $30–35/hour depending on experience Start: ASAP Position: Consistent, long-term weekday role We are hoping to find someone warm, energetic and genuinely great with kids who can become a consistent part of our family’s weekday routine. Responsibilities will include school pickup, driving the girls to local activities when needed, preparing simple snacks, playing and engaging with them at home, and helping keep their afternoon routine running smoothly. Our ideal sitter is mature, responsible, organized and extremely dependable. We want someone who enjoys interacting with children and will be actively engaged with them rather than spending significant time on their phone. We are specifically looking for someone with: • Previous childcare experience • Excellent references from families • A clean driving record and reliable transportation • Comfort driving children • Strong reliability and punctuality • CPR/First Aid certification preferred • Ability to make a consistent commitment through the school year College/graduate students, nursing students, teachers/education students, healthcare professionals and experienced nannies/babysitters are all welcome to apply. We are a friendly, active family and would love to find someone who is looking for a stable afternoon position and a family they can stay with longer-term. Occasional evening/date-night hours may also be available if desired.
