We are seeking an energetic babysitter for after-school care for our 8-year-old daughter. She is creative, chatty, and loves imaginative play with caretakers. This is a long-term, part-time position in the afternoons, with guaranteed 13.5 hours/week. WEEKLY SCHEDULE: - Mon./Tues./Thurs. 2:25 p.m. - 5:25 p.m. - Wed: 12:45 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. RESPONSIBILITIES: - School pickup with your car (5-minute drive from home, we provide you a booster seat) - Since our daughter is an only child, we seek someone who genuinely enjoys hands-on, imaginative play and active conversation with kids - Light meal prep for child (i.e. heating up prepared foods) - Light clean-up after activities REQUIREMENTS: - Sitter must have their own reliable vehicle for picking up our child from school, with a clean driving record - 3+ years experience with elementary school-aged children - 2 professional references that we can call - Knowledge about (or willingness to learn about) sensory-processing differences DETAILS: - Long-term position - Occasional additional hours may be available - Start date flexible but ideally October 26 - After Zoom interviews, we will select sitters who appear to be a good fit to move on to a paid 2-hour trial date - Serious inquiries only
