Hiring a caretaker starting Monday, Nov 30 (flexible)

About this nanny job

My husband and I are first time parents looking for a warm, steady person to spend the mornings with our daughter. She was born in early August, so she is currently about two months old. We are hoping for someone who wants to be with us for the long haul. My husband goes into work. I work from home in a separate office room, so I may come into the kitchen for food or to let the dog out, but you will be the caregiver during your hours and I won’t pop in to check on you or the baby. We’re looking for someone to start Nov 30 with a paid trial period in early/mid-November. 📅 Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30-2pm (some flexibility for the right person), optional date nights or additional hours as needs arise 🐶 Must like animals - we have a very friendly 30lb dog Responsibilities: * Feeds - bottles currently, solids later on * Changing diapers * Walks around the neighborhood * General enrichment activities - reading, playing, etc * Local driving to library story time or other local classes * Child-related house keeping - baby’s laundry, bottles, tidying rooms that you used Preferred: * Willingness to travel with us - we’ll cover travel and make sure you have a private room * Reliable car Requirements: * Previous care for children under 2 year old * Clean background check * 3 positive references from other families with small children * Clean driving record * Infant CPR certified If this sounds like your kind of day, message me a short note about yourself and your previous caregiving experience.
