About this nanny job
We have two daughters, a 3 monthold and a 4 year old with special needs. Our 4 year old has her own dedicated support provider, so caring for her will not be part of this position. We’re looking for a reliable, caring mother’s helper who can provide an extra set of hands with our baby and occasionally help with light household tasks. The goal is to have some support so I can get things done around the house and garden, or occasionally enjoy a planned afternoon outing. When I’m home, I exclusively breastfeed, so there will be times when I take over baby care and would appreciate help with other things, such as folding laundry, simple meal preparation, or light tidying. When I’m away, the primary responsibilities would be caring for our baby, including playing and interacting with her, preparing and giving bottles, and changing diapers. We’re hoping to find someone available occasionally on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays, starting with a few times a month. If it’s a good fit for everyone, we’d be open to more frequent help over time. We’re looking for someone who is attentive, dependable, comfortable taking initiative, and happy to be a supportive extra set of hands. We’d love to find someone who feels like a natural fit with our family and who is interested in building an ongoing relationship with us!
