About this nanny job
I am looking for a reliable, patient, and caring nanny to help care for my 6-year-old son, Siah, who is autistic and nonverbal. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 9:05 AM. Responsibilities include arriving at my home on time, helping Siah get ready for school, assisting with his morning routine, and safely transporting him from Portsmouth to Sedgefield Elementary School in Newport News for drop-off by 9:05 AM. The caregiver must have a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record. I will provide gas money for transportation. Experience caring for autistic or nonverbal children is strongly preferred. Siah needs someone who is patient, attentive, gentle, dependable, and comfortable supporting his individual communication and behavioral needs. Punctuality is extremely important because he must arrive at school on time. This is a weekday morning position every other week, and the caregiver’s responsibilities end once Siah is safely dropped off at school. I am looking for someone trustworthy who will treat my son with kindness, consistency, and care.
