Hi everyone! We’re a family near downtown San Anselmo looking for a warm, engaging, dependable part-time nanny/family assistant for our 3-year-old daughter. We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys this age: playful, energetic, affectionate, and proactive about outings and activities. We value reliability, great communication, and a long-term fit. SCHEDULE – UP TO 20 GUARANTEED HOURS/WEEK * Monday: 12:45–5pm * Tuesday: 1:30–5pm * Wednesday (full day): 8am–4:30pm * Friday: 12:45–4:30pm Monday and Wednesday are the days we need consistent coverage at the times listed. Friday has some flexibility, and Tuesday is a nice-to-have, not a dealbreaker! We’re open to fewer hours for the right person, but can’t offer more than 20 guaranteed hours/week. THE ROLE Mon/Fri: Preschool pickup in Kentfield, snack/rest time, and fun afternoons at the park, doing crafts, or playing at home. Wed: Full nanny day (no preschool), with outings, meals, play, and rest. Tues: Usually a family-assistant afternoon while she’s with grandparents: household laundry, light tidying/organizing, errands, and simple food prep. Occasionally, preschool pickup/childcare instead. On nanny days, we’d appreciate child-related cleanup and help unloading the dishwasher. This isn’t a housekeeping role. PAY & BENEFITS $33–$35/hour depending on experience; guaranteed pay for agreed weekly hours even when we don’t need coverage; paid PTO; our vehicle for work-related driving; optional evening/weekend hours. WE’D LOVE SOMEONE WHO: * Has strong toddler/preschool experience * Is playful, active, creative, and takes initiative * Is dependable, punctual, and a great communicator * Has a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and CPR certification * Is happy helping with light family-assistant tasks * Communicates clearly in English; bilingual caregivers welcome! Our daughter has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy. Careful attention to food safety, cross-contact prevention, and emergency protocols (including EpiPen use) is essential. Training provided; no prior allergy experience needed. I’m a former nanny myself and deeply value this work. We want our caregiver to feel respected and appreciated. INTERESTED?
