About this nanny job
We are looking for a nanny that enjoys creating activities and loves being around babies to take care of our one year old son, Atlas. His typical schedule is he wakes up at 6:30 a.m., we change his diaper, feed him. We are looking for a nanny to start at 7:30 a.m. change his diaper and clothes. We use cloth diapers, so he will need to be changed every 1.5 hours or max 2 hours. Around 8 a.m. he has a light breakfast, and typically goes down for his first nap around 10 a.m. for about 1.5 hours. Then he has lunch around noon. He eats solids and we allow him to explore his food and self feed, so we do ask to clean his high chair and surrounding areas after meals. We emphasize reading and developmental play, encourage outside time (walking with stroller). He typically goes down for his second nap around 2:30-3 for about 45 minutes to an hour and more reading and play. Shift would end at 4:30 p.m. Atlas loves music and dancing. He likes playing the piano and exploring his environment. We do need someone that ensures he is safe, as he moves around quickly and is trying to learn to walk. We are very focused in reading to him in both English and Spanish, as we are a bilingual family.
