Weekly Monday sitter + laundry and household help (about 3 hrs/week of chores) for a single dad in Sligo Park Hills, Silver Spring. ABOUT US I'm a single dad working from home with a 7-year-old son, Henry. He's extremely chatty, friendly, and loves math. I'm looking for one reliable, regular person who gets to know Henry and also helps keep the household running. This is ongoing, long-term work, not one-off babysitting. SCHEDULE - Mondays, about 5:00 to 9:00 PM, every week: babysitting through bedtime, plus bed sheets and towels. - One additional chore session, about 3 hours. Saturday preferred, but I'm flexible on the day. Tell me what works for you. - Starting around November 30, 2026; I'm flexible on the start date. Hours are guaranteed weekly. MONDAY DUTIES - Hang out with Henry: dinner, play, bedtime routine - Strip beds, wash and dry sheets and towels, remake beds, put towels away CHORE SESSION DUTIES - Fold and put away the week's laundry (this is the most important one) - Empty the dishwasher, reset the kitchen - Light tidying and small household tasks from a short list I'll leave This is NOT deep cleaning. I use a separate cleaning service for that. LOOKING FOR - Experience with school-age kids; experience with neurodivergent kids is a plus - Comfortable with a food allergy (I'll walk you through everything) - Genuinely fine doing laundry and light chores alongside childcare - Reliable and consistent, ideally for a year or more - Own transportation, non-smoker PAY: $28 to $32/hr depending on experience.
