About this nanny job
We're looking for a full-time French-speaking nanny to care for our son, who will be 18 months old in January. The position runs from January to August 2027, and in the summer months (June, July, August), care would extend to include our daughter who will be 4 years old. Our family speaks English and we're looking for someone that can provide French language immersion for our kids before they transition to a bilingual French preschool in the fall. Responsibilities - Speak French with the children throughout the day to foster language immersion - Lead developmentally appropriate play, educational activities, and local outings to museums and parks - Prepare nutritious snacks and lunches for the children - Perform light household tasks related to the children, including their laundry, dishes, and vacuuming - Keep the nursery and play areas clean, organized, and safe Requirements - Fluency in French and English - Direct experience managing two children of different ages simultaneously Preferred - Background in preschool teaching or early childhood education
