🌙 MRS. DOUBTFIRE WANTED — APRON OPTIONAL! Three terrific kids. One hardworking dad. One lovable dog. And an afternoon routine that could use a little magic! ✨ We're searching for a warmhearted, dependable afternoon family assistant to help a single dad keep his household running smoothly while balancing work and raising three wonderful children. This isn't your typical babysitting position. We're looking for someone who enjoys children, doesn't mind lending a hand around the house, and can bring a little calm (and laughter!) to our busy afternoons. 🌙 THE SCHEDULE Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Flexible afternoon hours, generally 3:00–6:00 p.m. Additional hours may be available during school holidays, breaks and closures, with schedules arranged in advance. 🏡 THE AFTERNOON MISSION Help keep things running smoothly before and after the kids come home! • Prepare simple, family-friendly meals. • Help with light housekeeping and occasional laundry. • Pick up the children from their YMCA afterschool program, generally between 4:00–5:00 p.m. • Provide a little homework help and encouragement. • Keep the afternoon moving toward a peaceful evening! No gourmet cooking required. If you can prepare a decent dinner (i.e. mac & cheese w/hotdogs) while negotiating whose turn it is to choose the music, you're already ahead of the game! 😂 🐾 MEET THE HOUSEHOLD Three terrific children with different personalities, plenty of energy and a four-legged family member who probably thinks she's in charge. Being comfortable around dogs is important! ❤️ WHO WE'RE HOPING TO FIND Someone patient, kind, trustworthy and genuinely fond of children. A familiar, trusted face in our children's afternoons who brings warmth, consistency and a sense of humor to the everyday routine. Retirees, empty nesters and grandparents missing their grandkid fix are especially welcome! We're hoping to find someone who enjoys being part of a busy household and takes pride in making life a little easier for everyone. 💰 PAY: $17–$22/hour, depending on experience.
