About this household help job
We're a family of four with kids aged 5 and 2, looking for a proactive household helper to set us up for the week ahead. What you'd do Meal prep: Prep ingredients for 1–2 family dinners (e.g. potatoes peeled, chopped, herbed, ready to bake), plus easy foods for kid lunches Kitchen & groceries: Take stock of groceries and place an online order if needed; put away dishes, run the dishwasher Laundry & tidying: Wash, fold and put away kids' laundry; tidy the toy areas Occasional school pickup when we're caught up with work No deep cleaning or regular childcare. Both schools are under a mile away, so pickup can be on foot, by cargo bike, or in our car — driving not required. Someone who takes ownership and doesn't need a checklist — you can walk in, see what needs doing, and run with it. Comfortable with knife skills and simple recipes we provide. Prior experience as a household manager, family assistant, doula or nanny, with local references. We're flexible on hours and structure, and happy to let you run the afternoon your way. We'd love a long-term fit — ideal if you work nearby and want extra Monday hours. To apply, reply with a short intro, your experience and availability.
