About this nanny job
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic part-time nanny to help care for our 3-year-old twins during the afternoon and early evening. We’re hoping to find someone who enjoys working with toddlers, is proactive, and can help keep our afternoons running smoothly in a safe, loving, and fun environment. Schedule & Pay Days: Monday–Friday Hours: Approximately 2:00 or 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience Start date: Flexible / ASAP Responsibilities Pick up the twins from daycare before closing at 4:00 PM and safely transport them home. Play with the kids, plan age-appropriate activities, read, and keep them engaged. Help with the afternoon and evening routine, including serving snacks and dinner as needed. Assist with bath time and getting the kids ready for bed when needed. Prepare simple meals or do light cooking for the kids. Help with light housekeeping related to the children, including kids’ laundry, tidying toys, and keeping the playroom organized. When starting before daycare pickup, help prepare for the afternoon by tidying the playroom, organizing toys, or getting things ready for the kids. Ideal Candidate Has previous childcare experience, ideally with toddlers or twins. Is reliable, patient, attentive, and nurturing. Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daycare pickup. Is proactive, organized, and comfortable helping with light household tasks related to the children. Is CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified. Can provide references from previous families. We’re looking for someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of our family’s routine. Our priority is finding someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with the kids and can help make our afternoons and evenings run smoothly. Interested?
