Part-Time After-School Nanny / Babysitter Needed – Lakeland, FL I’m a working dad of two school-aged children looking for a reliable, responsible, and trustworthy nanny or babysitter to help with after-school care on a consistent, part-time basis. I have a 50/50 parenting schedule, so I’m looking for someone who can work around that arrangement. Schedule: * Mondays and Tuesdays: Guaranteed every week * Fridays: Every other Friday * Hours: From school dismissal until I get home from work, typically a couple of hours each afternoon. Responsibilities: * Pick both children up from school and bring them home safely. The school is approximately 13 minutes from my house. * Help the kids complete their homework and stay on track with their afternoon routine. * Prepare a simple dinner for the kids if I’m not home by approximately 5:30 PM. * Provide a safe, comfortable, and positive environment until I get home. * Light cleanup related to the children, their meals, and activities. What I’m Looking For: Someone who is dependable, patient, caring, and genuinely enjoys working with children. Because my work schedule can occasionally vary, some flexibility with my arrival time would be appreciated. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, a clean driving record, and be willing to complete a background check. Previous childcare experience and references are important. CPR/first-aid certification is preferred. I’m not looking for someone to clean my house or take on a bunch of unrelated responsibilities. I simply need someone I can trust to pick up my kids, help them with homework, make sure they’re fed when necessary, and keep them safe until I get home. Location: Lakeland, FL Pay: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications. I’m hoping to find someone consistent and dependable who can build a comfortable, positive relationship with my children and ideally stay with us long-term.
