About this nanny job
Saturday infant helper needed – Indianapolis (5 hours/week) We’re a family with working professional parents looking for a warm, reliable helper to care for our 6-month-old son on Saturdays. This is a steady, once-a-week role, ideal for someone who enjoys babies and likes a predictable weekly schedule. Schedule: Saturdays, one 5-hour shift between 7am and 2pm (exact hours to be agreed with the right candidate). Start date: As soon as possible, ideally within the next month. Pay: $15/hour. What you’ll do: Care for our son: feeding, diapering, naps, and engaging play (tummy time, reading, talking) Wash bottles and pump parts Do the baby’s laundry Prepare simple baby food/purees Tidy the nursery and baby areas Run or unload the dishwasher and clean the kitchen area Requirements: Prior experience caring for infants under 1 year old Current infant CPR and first aid certification Non-smoker / non-vaper Up-to-date vaccinations (flu, COVID, and Tdap) Good to know: One or both parents will usually be home during shifts, often resting, so you’ll have support nearby but will be the baby’s main caregiver during your shift.
