Seeking Nurturing Part-Time Nanny for 17-Month-Old (MWF, 9 AM – 1 PM) We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and reliable part-time nanny to care for our 17-month-old child at our home. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (12 hours per week). The start date is flexible. Our toddler is curious and active, so we want someone focused on developmental play, safety, and a warm routine. Household Dynamics: Dad works from home in a dedicated office, and Mom is home but focused on other tasks. We respect your space and look forward to partnering with a nanny who is confident managing a toddler with parents nearby! We also have a friendly 50lb mixed-breed dog (Catahoula mix), so candidates must be pet-friendly. Key Responsibilities - Active Engagement: Plan age-appropriate activities like reading, singing, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. - Routine & Feeding: Parents will take care of breakfast and fully prepare lunch/snacks. You will just need to feed the child his prepared lunch and lead the wind-down routine to get him ready for his 1:00 PM nap just as your shift ends. - Toddler Safety: Maintain constant supervision during indoor and outdoor exploration. - Light Tidying: Clean up after the child’s meals and playtime activities. Requirements & Qualifications - Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional childcare experience, specifically with toddlers. - Background check - California TrustLine registered - Language Exposure: Fluency in Portuguese or Korean is a huge plus so you can speak it directly with our child, though this is not a strict requirement. - Safety Certified: Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required. - Reliability: Punctual with trustworthy, independent transportation. - Health: Up-to-date on vaccinations and non-smoker. - References: Strong references from previous families.
