Location: Covington, GA 30014 Position: Full-Time, Live-In Schedule: Monday–Sunday, including weekends, with scheduled breaks and time off Compensation: Competitive, based on experience Housing: Private accommodations provided We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, patient, and experienced live-in caregiver for a 12-year-old autistic boy who attends school Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate has experience caring for children with autism, understands structured routines, and can provide attentive, consistent, and nurturing care. Responsibilities Assist with morning routines, breakfast, hygiene, dressing, and school preparation. Provide after-school, evening, and weekend care. Prepare meals and snacks in advance according to dietary preferences. Assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, and daily living activities. Administer prescribed medications as directed and authorized. Provide supervision, structured activities, and behavioral support. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. Follow established schedules and communicate regularly with parents. Qualifications Experience caring for autistic children or individuals with special needs preferred. Patient, reliable, attentive, and trustworthy. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Ability to pass a background check and provide references. Comfortable following detailed routines and household expectations. Available for long-term employment. Important: Caregiver must remain actively engaged with the child.
