About this nanny job
We’re a warm, close-knit family looking for a loving, engaged nanny to join our team and care for our curious, joyful 20-month-old son. He loves books, music, climbing, being outside, and hearing all about the world around him. What a typical day looks like: Breakfast together, then play and learning time planned around his nap schedule Activities you lead, chosen for where he is developmentally and gently stretching toward his next milestones (we’ll buy any toys or materials you’d like!) Plenty of short outdoor adventures when the weather is nice: backyard play, walks, and picnics on the lawn Nap routine with a bottle, books, and wind-down time Lunch, snacks, and outings in the afternoon What we value: Food exposure and variety. You’ll help plan a simple weekly menu and prepare his breakfast, lunch, and snacks. This is one of the most important parts of the role for us. Talking to him all day. We narrate everything, sing during diaper changes, etc. Following his lead in play, observing what interests him, and building on it day to day. Being present. Phones stay away while he’s awake, so updates to our tracking app happen during naps. Good judgment and a strong sense of timing. Every day is a little different, and we trust you to read his cues. During naps you’ll keep things running smoothly, managing the child's inventory with activities including but not limited to: bottle washing, baby laundry, packing the diaper bag, and light tidying of his spaces. We provide a detailed onboarding guide and will walk you through everything in person, so you’re set up to succeed from day one. What we offer: $27/hour, guaranteed hours, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Easy parking and a well-stocked, organized home A family that communicates openly, appreciates you, and sees you as a true partner in our son’s growth Requirements: CPR certification, a safe driving record, comfort with car seat installation, and experience with toddlers.
