Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant – San Anselmo, CA We are a warm, welcoming family looking for a reliable, caring, and proactive part-time Nanny / Family Assistant to join us long-term. Our wonderful longtime nanny is relocating, and we hope to find someone who enjoys working with children and helping a busy household run smoothly. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:50–10:50 AM (20 guaranteed hours/week) Start: November 2026, flexible for the right person Pay: Competitive, based on experience Language: Fluent Portuguese preferred, but not required We have two daughters, ages 2 and 5, and a friendly dog. The role is approximately 50% childcare and 50% household assistance. Morning Childcare (6:50–9:00 AM) Help with breakfast, getting dressed, morning routines, and school drop-offs for both girls. We value someone patient, affectionate, and confident managing young children while keeping mornings calm and organized. Family Assistance (9:00–10:50 AM) Our biggest priority is cooking and meal preparation. We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys preparing healthy, simple, delicious family meals. Other responsibilities include laundry (washing, folding, putting away), kitchen reset, light tidying, organizing groceries and produce, and keeping common areas organized. We have a separate house cleaner, so no deep cleaning is expected. Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is warm, experienced with young children, a confident home cook, organized, independent, and proactive. Reliability and punctuality are essential given the early start. A clean driving record, safe driving skills, reliable transportation, and strong references are required.
