Part-Time After-School Caregiver Medfield, MA | Monday-Thursday, 2:15–5:30 p.m. We are looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging caregiver to help with our 8-year-old daughter after school each weekday. We hope to find someone who will become a trusted part of our family’s routine and help make afternoons a fun, comfortable, and productive part of her day. Schedule Monday–Thursday, approximately 2:15–5:30 p.m. School pickup is at 2:30 p.m., with the caregiver expected to arrive and get in the pickup line starting at 2:15 p.m. Care concludes when a parent is available after work, no later than 5:30 p.m. Responsibilities School pickup and transportation: Pick up our daughter from school using your own vehicle. We will provide an appropriate car seat for you to install and use. Snack preparation: Prepare a simple afternoon snack. Homework supervision: Help her stay on track with homework, answer questions, and provide support as needed. Play and engagement: Supervise and engage with her in screen-free activities, including pretend play, LEGO, crafts, reading, games, and outdoor play when weather permits. General supervision: Provide attentive, age-appropriate supervision and help establish a relaxed, positive after-school routine. About Our Daughter Our daughter is 8 years old and is clever, funny, silly, bright, and kind. She loves Pokémon, pretend play, LEGO, crafts, reading, and being outside. She also has a particular enthusiasm for collecting and sharing strange and interesting facts! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with school-aged children, can engage with her interests, and is comfortable balancing homework and routine with plenty of opportunities for fun and imaginative play. About Our Home We have a very sweet, gentle, but large golden retriever. Comfort around dogs is important, and someone who enjoys having a friendly canine companion around would be a great fit! Ideal Candidate Reliable, punctual, patient, and warm. Experienced caring for elementary-school-aged children. Has a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and reliable transportation. Comfortable supervising homework and facilitating screen-free activities. Comfortable around large dogs. Able to provide excellent childcare references. We hope to find someone who will enjoy getting to know our daughter and become a dependable, positive presence in her afternoons.
