About this nanny job

We are looking for a warm, attentive, and dependable full-time nanny to care for our sweet 6-month-old baby boy. Both parents work full-time (primarily hybrid/remote from dedicated home offices). We have a very calm, friendly dog (Baloo) who mostly relaxes around the house, so candidates should be pet-friendly (no dog care duties required). Core Responsibilities Sleep Routine & Nap Conditioning: Partner with parents to establish and maintain a predictable, soothing daytime nap routine tailored to age-appropriate wake windows and safe sleep guidelines. Solids Support: Assist with his ongoing introduction to solids—preparing fresh, simple purees/finger foods, offering guided feedings, monitoring acceptance, and washing/sanitizing baby food bowls and utensils. Bathing & Hygiene: Give him his daily bath, manage gentle post-bath skincare/dressing, and handle routine diapering and hygiene. Infant Care & Development: Bottle feeding, diapering, and engaging him in enriching, screen-free developmental play (tummy time, reading books, interactive floor play, and sensory games). Outdoor Time: Daily stroller walks around the neighborhood, weather permitting. Baby-Related Tidying: Sanitizing bottles, bath items, and food prep gear; keeping the nursery and play spaces organized; and managing the baby’s laundry during nap downtime. Requirements & Preferences Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional nanny experience with extensive, direct care for infants (specifically the 4–12 month stage). Language: Bilingual in English and Hindi strongly preferred (we would love someone who can speak to him naturally in both languages). Certifications: Current Infant CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to renew before start). Health & Safety: Up to date on all routine vaccinations (Tdap, annual flu, COVID-19); strictly non-smoker; thorough adherence to infant water safety and safe sleep. Knowledge: Hands-on understanding of infant milestones, solid food safety (choking prevention vs. gagging), and gentle sleep conditioning methods. References: Excellent, verifiable references from past infant childcare roles.
